Do you struggle with procrastination?
I know I sometimes procrastinate and I think all of us do. In fact, today I almost didn’t make this video. I was like it’s a sunny day I do not really feel like working – but I have a vision for where I want to go in my business and that’s what keeps me going forward. What do you think stops you from doing the things that you want to do? I know it’s super easy to get stuff done when it’s stuff that we love to do – but what if it’s something like in your business – for instance in network marketing. It’s easy to not do the things that we want to do and sometimes its hard to do the things that we need to do. Even though we do have big goals and things that we want to accomplish. It’s really really important to have a huge vision for where you want to go with your business and what you want your life to be like once you accomplish the things in your business. That’s the kind of stuff that will keep you going on those days when you want to procrastinate.
The reason a lot of us procrastinate is because of fear – fear of change, fear of rejection, fear of success – all of these things cause changes in our lives that we may or may not want. The way that you can get over those things is to take action. Sometimes it’s really really hard. It’s so easy not to do something. So take a few minutes and really think about what you are wanting from your business, why are you doing your business and that’s going to help you to take the actions steps. Start with something small. I know for me today just doing this video gets me in the mode to do something else that I need to do today. Make some time and then I’ll reward myself a little later in the day by taking a break.
